IKEA sustainability film

This job really fascinated my four-year-old son and made me popular among his friends. In fact, this was so much fun that it hardly should be called work. The task was to create a globe in papier-mâché with tiny details. The globe appears in a children’s room that I designed, connecting the planet home to our own home sweet home. In many of the other scenes in the film I also worked as a stylist and set designer. Really fun project!

"Jungle Kitsch solution" for digital agency

Molamil is digital agency in Copenhagen that specializes in high end interactive projects. They are cool enough to have a “living logo” that is a real monkey from the Copenhagen zoo. To emphasize their theme and braveness, I proposed a style that I called "jungle-kitsch". My thought was that this would reflect the easygoing and open-minded personality of the agency. They were really happy with the solution.

IKEA asked me to create a real three dimensional model showing an overview of the company’s sustainability work, made from real IKEA recyclable materials like cardboard, wood, fabric etc.

"De-styling" an IKEA magazine ad room setting

When I worked at IKEA Communications, I was lucky to get the chance to help out with one of the room settings for IKEA Magazine Ads 2011, directed by Hans Bloomqvist. One of my tasks was to transform the living room into a playground. IKEA Live magazine interviewed us and wrote an reportage about the making of.

Miniature model for IKEA stop motion film

My assignment was to build a miniature model of a home with clay, cardboard and textile. This time the challenge was to make all the pieces as separate building blocks that could be animated in stop motion to be used in an internal film for IKEA.

HEMNES hack with old windows

A couple of old dusty windows that we found in the attic became new, charming glass doors for this classic IKEA furniture.

Miniature model for my interior design degree

As a project for the interior design course we had to build a model of a living room and kitchen in scale with different materials. Now it has turned to be a fancy dollhouse for my daughter.
